These days a variety of pillow fill options exist throughout the bedding market. From natural goose down feathers, to polyester fiber and foam, pillow fill types deliver varying comfort and durability levels. Though some pillows, including those that are filled with natural feathers, can be pricey, they do tend to last longer and users report a higher level of comfort and sleep satisfaction. For those looking for more hypo-allergenic option, synthetic down and polyester fiber fill pillows are available. Those that require firm support, memory foam pillows are a great choice.

Thread counts

Though you may be familiar with thread-counts when it comes to bedding sheets or even towels, it may come as a surprise to learn that your pillow has a thread count too. A higher thread count adds to the durability of your pillow as well as its comfort. But, as with sheets, the higher the count, the higher the cost.
